澳大利亚艾迪科斯文大学副校长一行来我校访问
2013年4月22日 澳大利亚艾迪科斯文大学(Edith Cowan University)副校长Professor Lynne Cohen一行来我校访问。王峰副校长与Professor Lynne Cohen就两校之间未来的合作进行了亲切会谈,参与此次会谈的有英文学院,6626com威尼斯人,新闻传播学院以及艺术学院的相关负责人。之后在我院马国友副院长的主持下,Professor Lynne Cohen为英教学院研究生就教育心理学领域的群体归属感做了精彩演讲,阐述了归属感是一种被尊重、被接纳、被支持的感觉,并强调了其在学校教育中的重要性以及对学生成长的影响。并与学生展开热烈讨论,整个会场气氛十分活跃。此外,Professor Lynne Cohen生动形象简明扼要地介绍了艾迪斯科文大学概况,包括所在城市Perth概况,学校三个不同校区,学校专业设置以及ECU社会公平性的教育思想等。关于我校以及我院系与ECU项目合作事宜,正在积极洽谈过程中,希望同学们能够持续关注。

Edith Cowan University (ECU)
The origins of Edith Cowan University date back to 1902 with the establishment of Claremont Teachers College, the first tertiary education institution in Western Australia
In 1982 it was merged with several later established teachers colleges to form the Western Australian College of Advanced Education (WACAE)
The Western Australian College of Advanced Education (WACAE) was granted university status on 1 January 1991 and changed its name to Edith Cowan University.
Edith Cowan University (ECU) is an Australian public university located in Perth, Western Australia. It has 20,000 students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It was named after the first woman to be elected to an Australian Parliament, Edith Cowan, and is the only Australian university named after a woman.
The university offers more than 400 courses across two campuses, in Mount Lawley and Joondalup, and a regional campus in the South West, Bunbury.
Professor Lynne Cohen
Professor Lynne Cohen is the Executive Dean, Faculty of Education and Arts and Pro- Vice Chancellor of ECU.
Professor Lynne Cohen holds the degrees of Bachelor of Science and a higher Education Diploma from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, Bachelor of Psychology, Master of Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy from Edith Cowan University.
Professor Lynne Cohen has a strong background in education. She has won a number of national teaching awards for her commitment to university teaching. Over the last few years, she has won 15 research grants, authored and co-authored 5 books and 15 academic papers.
